While many places feel current weather stress, the temperatures on Lanzarote are quite nice and comfortable. The wind can kick up well of course and a storm shows his face here and there, but many folks refer to this island as a perfect triathlon training space. European triathletes have known this for a long time and come here regularly, but now we are slowly seeing North Americans join in the fun here.
We are currently at the Sands Beach Resort in Lanzarote to see the UPlace-BMC team in training, but there are many other triathletes here. Some of them have actually chosen to permanently live on this island and call this place home.

Spanish Pro Miguel Blanchart had finished 2nd at Ironman Lanzarote and 5th at Challenge Roth is also currently training here.

But as Charlie Bayliss shows us, it isn't all about training. There are actually plenty of fun things to do here for family members.
